Of course what I love about these practices is that they all compliment each other. Choose one or multiple services, the choice is yours. Rest assured your therapist (little old me) is highly skilled in each modality. I have 12 years experience under my belt, the service you choose will be personalised, professional and of the highest quality standard.

About Me ~

Hi, I'm J founder of Jaya Health.

It is truly such a joy to be able to offer you an assortment of curated health & wellness services. These services have been honed and refined and refined some more over the span of 12 invaluable years. I am constantly evolving and adapting my services to suit the needs of the individual or wider community.

My first passion was Yoga, I have been practicing this ancient, meditative practice since I was a teenager. It's a practice that has such a grounding affect on the mind and its physical benefits are endless. 

 

Then came clinical massage. After first studying Beauty Therapy and practicing as a Beautician in my early 20s, I realised the longest lasting physical change I could give to someone was through massage and muscle work. The effects of a single treatment can be felt for weeks, to months, to indefinitely! Which is why I wanted to expand on my massage skill set and functionality of the human body. Physical touch in the form of massage can provide such lasting change. I just had to delve deeper into this field. And so I went on to complete a Diploma in Remedial-therapy then furthered my knowledge of the physical body through study in the field of Myo-therapy. My treatments are clinical yet so very relaxing and nurturing. Think spa meets clinic.

Lastly meditation was added to the mix. After the birth of my son (6 years ago) I realised that mindfulness and meditation were the areas of wellness I personally needed the most and was gaining the most from at that point in my life. As the saying goes "we teach best what we most need." As a new mum these simple practices were the thing that helped bring clarity and composure to this new and uncertain role. And so meditation became my saving grace. I just had to start sharing its benefits and how it can have lasting positive affects on the brain.  Meditation and mindfulness really are remarkable practices, in time you will find you can tackle any challenging situation and flow through life with ease and grace. And believe me when I say absolutely anyone can learn how to do it.
